Broadheads are not allowed in PFA target butts.
Using broadheads in any club target butt is prohibited. If you are caught, you will be asked to turn in your membership and you will be charged a butt replacement fee.
Why this rule exists: Broadheads lodge and break inside the butts. This creates a serious safety hazard when we change faces and cores.
What is allowed: You may bring your own broadhead-rated target and use it on the outdoor range only. Do not place personal targets on indoor lanes or attach them to club butts or frames.

Pocatello Field Archers is one of Idaho’s oldest and most active archery clubs. Located in southeast Idaho, Pocatello Field Archers operates three outdoor courses and a 16-lane indoor range. All of its facilities are available to members 365 days a year and 24 hours a day.
There’s always something going on at PFA. NFAA-sanctioned shoots, evening leagues during fall and winter, Indoor and outdoor 3D shoots, and youth JOAD and Explorer programs. Whether you’re an expert archer or a beginner; a target shooter, a hunter, or both, Pocatello Field Archers is a great place to enjoy archery in the company of our friendly members. |
